Felix Gonzalez-Torres: “Untitled” (L.A.) offers the Figge Art Museum a meaningful opportunity to share the work of this deeply influential artist with the Quad Cities community. This exhibition invites visitors to reflect on themes central to Gonzalez-Torres’s practice: the joyful celebration of LGBTQ identity alongside acknowledgment of ongoing challenges to the community’s rights, as well as the enduring impact of the AIDS epidemic.
Companion programs, including film screenings, a dance intervention, and a community art activity, are offered in partnership with Clock, Inc. and The Project of the Quad Cities.
